Our ceramics laboratory makes our office and services complete, allowing us to provide services such as injection processing, denture acrylics, impact acrylics, and moreóservices that are almost never found in the same office or even building as an orthodontics laboratory. With a focus of providing all the services our clients and patients need in one convenient area we offer our duo laboratory set-up with a ceramics laboratory that matches our other laboratory in top-quality equipment, service, and products. Please read through the following product descriptions for more information on the quality products we use in our ceramics laboratory.
Jensen's Authentic PorcelainAuthentic® is a low fusing, leucite reinforced pressable ceramic that allows both a staining technique as well as a layering technique or the combination of the two. The Authentic® pressable ceramic ingots can be pressed with all pressing furnaces on the world market, including Jensen's Vario Press 300 by Zubler. Because of its natural color appearance it matches the oral surroundings perfectly. With Authentic® even the finest, most delicate forms can be accurately reproduced with perfectly natural esthetic control. Full crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers can be created with superb color stability even using multiple firings. Authentic® is 2 phase glass ceramic that allows you to reproduce unmatched esthetics using the simplest layering or staining techniques.Because of the leucite crystals, a very homogenous structure is achieved which comes very close to the natural enamel in surface hardness and plaque affinity.
Sirona InLab MC XLSirona Dental Systems further expands its family of inLab CAD/CAM products with the introduction of the inLab MC XL Milling Unit. Sirona alllows you to experience new levels of productivity and power by adding the inLab MC XL milling unit to your expandable assortment of CAD/CAM options.The inLab MC XL features a modern, elegant design with solid, heavy-duty construction. Milling performance and precision has been optimized to +/- 25 microns. The tandem burs now spin at 60,000 RPM resulting in considerably faster milling times - approximately 6 minutes for a full-contour crown.
Creation ZI
We use the new porcelain Creation ZI to veneer zirconia oxide frameworks of denture teeth. Creation ZI's characteristics and qualities allow it to match perfectly with zirconia, even compensating for the thermal expansion zirconia experiences. With its flexural qualities and strong bonding, brought about by a high firing temperature, Creation ZI is a product that will last and feel comfortable. Creation ZI has minimal shrinkage caused by high temperatures and provides a brilliant effect because it has a non-porous microstructure.
